Nick Simmons
Nick is a member of the senior class at Williamston High School where his favorite class is math. In addition to wrestling Nick also plays baseball and golf for the Hornets. Last season Nick extended his high school winning steak to an incredible 159-0 with 156 by fall. Nick says he wrestles because it's tradition in his family, he was born a wrestler. This summer Nick won his third Junior National Wrestling Championship in Fargo, North Dakota. He says wrestling has taught him about respect, discipline, and sacrifice. This season Nick plans to pin all his opponents and lead his team to another State Championship. In the future Nick has committed to be an NCAA wrestler for the Spartans of Michigan State University. Nick says, "Pain heals, chicks dig scars, but glory lasts forever."
